This summer the Chicago Park District will be offering Arts XIII – a camp for 12-14 year old Chicago residents. The camp runs from Jun 26, 2017 to Aug 11, 10-4pm, Monday through Friday, and will be offered at 3 park centers around the city including Clarendon Park. In addition to outdoor activities like swimming, camps will include art making, field trips to different cultural organizations in the city and a final gallery exhibit! Participants will dance, sing, play, paint, sculpt, draw, create, choreograph, write, and perform alongside resident artists and art groups. It should be a very inspiring and engaging camp, is wildly affordable, and would be perfect for teens who want to do less sports and more arts ;)
There are still have spots available for 12-14 year olds! The cost is $130 for the entire 6 weeks for residents but scholarship are available for students who qualify for reduced lunch. Get information or register.

What a great day Peirce Day at Hopleaf was!
It's was so good to see our Peirce Village and Andersonville/Edgewater community come together to raise money for our wonderful school. We learned from Michael and Louise at Hopleaf that we raised just over $21,000! These funds will be instrumental for our arts and afterschool programs next year.
Thank you to Michael, Louise and the Hopleaf staff for their generosity and passion for our school.
