This month, there are a plethora of free opportunities for students, teachers and schools!
Students in grades 5-8 can earn a scholarship through the Smart Money Week Essay contest or teens can learn more about careers in Chemistry and Biology at the YOUmedia center in the Harold Washington Library.
In addition, through Safari Montage, schools can take their classes on virtual field trips focusing on relevant topics during Black History Month.
Educators can also participate in free workshops from The Chicago Architecture Foundation and at local Apple Stores.
