LSC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Annually evaluate the performance of the principal
• Approve the principal contract
• Approve amendments to the expenditure plan;Approve the Continuous Improvement Work Plan (CIWP) and monitor its progress
• Adopt a school uniform or dress code policy
• ​Approve the budget, internal accounts, and fundraising activities of the school in accordance with Board policy

Local School Council members should maintain a cooperative relationship with the principal and make decisions that are in the best interest of every student who attends the school.
